Chris Pecak, Mayor
Mayor Christopher “Chris” Pecak is a lifelong resident of Lisle. He and his wife Robin have two sons. Chris started in the workforce in retail sales and management, which he performed for 15 years. Shortly thereafter he began his Project Management career in the Vertical Transportation Industry. During his 20+ years in this sector, Chris won two prestigious national awards for his outstanding engineering and planning. A dedicated community volunteer, Chris was honored with the Lisle “Community Spirit Award” in 2011. Chris is deeply involved in Cub Scouts, including serving as a Leader in the past. He is also involved in multiple sports programs.
Lorna Turner, Village Clerk
Lorna, a 34-year resident of Lisle, is currently the Assistant Division Manager at the Illinois Department of Revenue, where she conducts audits of large multi-state taxpayers. She has specialized in state and local taxes throughout her career and has worked for large Fortune 500 companies prior to joining the Department of Revenue. Lorna has been the past President of the Chicago Chapter of Tax Executives Institute, past officer and director of The Chicago Tax Club, and past Board member of the Council on State Taxation, based out of Washington D.C. Lorna’s community involvement includes The Morton Arboretum (35+ year commitment), Lisle Woman’s Club, Fifth District Woman’s Club, Lisle Township Food Pantry Garden, Lisle District 202 HSO, Sharing Connections, and various other organizations.
Kelly Dixit, Village Trustee
Kelly and her Physician husband Rajeev are the proud parents of a young son that attends St. Joan of Arc. Kelly brings a successful work record and diverse resume to the role of village trustee. She started out her career as a Social Worker, focusing on at-risk youth after earning her degree in Industrial Psychology from Cal State Hayward University. Later she transitioned into the corporate world, earning positions in IT Recruitment and HR fields with several prestigious companies, including US Bank. While working in that area, Kelly earned a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management from Concordia University. Kelly is an engaged and active volunteer at St. Joan of Arc School. She is involved in several ministries there, including reading programs.
Marie Hasse, Village Trustee
Marie and her husband, Mark, moved to Lisle in 1999. Married for 25 years, they are proud parents of two daughters. Marie is a very active volunteer in the community, at school, and at church. Her areas of service include DuPage PADS homeless shelter, Lisle Girl Scouts, St. Joan of Arc School and Parish, St. Margaret Mary Church, Benet Academy, and Lights of Lisle. Marie has coached Volleyball and Track for 8 years and enjoys mentoring young women in academics, sports, and daily life. Marie holds a BBA in Accounting from Dowling College. Marie has worked for over 10 years in the accounting field for major Fortune 500 companies.
